Outdoor Recreation is celebrating FMWR Outdoor Recreation’s 50th Anniversary by hosting a Youth Fishing Derby aimed to increase the interest of fishing and outdoor activities within the youth community. The tournament is open to youth ages of 5 to 16 years old with parental supervision. There will be prizes for the biggest fish of a five-fish limit weigh in.
This event is free of charge. A fish bucket will be provided for each participant. Outdoor Recreation will have worm packs for sale at $3. All participants are required to wear face masks and practice 6-ft social distancing. Hand sanitation stations will be available throughout the park.
