Army 10-Miler

Starts at Hilton Field.

You can register same day at 4am.

The 10-mile run allows Soldiers and other authorized patrons an opportunity to compete in an event similar to the Army 10-Miler held each year in Washington, D.C.

Early package pickup on Friday, July 21st and Coleman Gym.

Open to all CAC and ID card holders.

Pilates

A 4-week progression series to help you learn the foundation and progress to a complete intermediate to advanced weekly practice to builder a stronger core, leaner legs, and toned arms. Suitable for all fitness levels. Offered at Coleman Gym and Facebook Live.

Privately Owned Weapons Day

Shooters can shoot at targets between 25m and 200m.

Paper targets, spotting scopes tables and chairs are provided.

Patrons can shoot rifle or pistol at a Day rate or an hourly rate.

 

Pre-register at Marion Street Station or by phone at 803-751-3484:

$25 per person for all day (4 hour)

$10 per person per hour (preregister)

$15 per person per hour (day of onsite/cash only)


 

Ensure all weapons are registered on post. No Automatic weapons or .50 CAL allowed.

Ages 12 and up, 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Yoga with Jim

A total body of stretch and conditioning workout that builds focus, calms the nervous system and eases muscle pain and tension from regular exercise. Suitable for all fitness levels. Facebook Live.

Water Aerobics

Water group exercise designed for Special population uses modified moves for individuals who may have limitations such as: hip replacement, poor circulation, pregnant, etc.  Since these classes are slower, they are also great for Seniors. (Special populations, seniors)

Cardio drills laced with muscle conditioning exercises that are timed.  Goal is to work cardio and conditioning at a moderate to high pace.  All levels – Coleman Gym & Facebook LIVE

The combining of boxing aerobics, jump rope training, resistance balls, drills, plyometrics, and body weight exercise that tone the body. An excellent total body workout without bulking up.  Suitable for all fitness levels. Available at Coleman Gym and Facebook Live.

Juicing Workshop

As part of the Summer Reading Program, the Library is partnering with the Sports and Fitness Branch to present a juicing workshop led by Pam Long, Fitness Coordinator.  Learn the difference between juice and smoothies, and sample healthy, tasty, ways to improve your meal planning.
